Oops! I intended to write 'They' instead of the, but I am sure you understood my meaning. :) Love, Paula

Oh! Those are so cute. I used to knit a lot when my children were small but I haven't done any knitting lately. Those are just cute enough to spark my interest again!

Hi Eli,
thanks for the well wishes I am just about coming up for air and switched the comp. on this morning. I feel fragile but certainly on the mend I think.
I love this daff. I may even have a go at making it as it really is so lovely, and with your instructions being so 'simple' which is perfect for the likes of me I do think I may manage one.

I don't think I have missed much weather while being out of action, the garden is growing and I have not been able to do much yet, hopefully I'll be able to get out there this next week. My Mr has sanded and oiled the garden furniture so he must be expecting outside weather soon so fingers crossed he's right.
Hope you are back in your workroom now.
Bye for now

Little contemplations

  • A flower cannot blossom without sunshine nor a garden without love.
  • Angels speak to out hearts when we are asleep.
  • The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,
One is nearer God's heart in a garden,
    Than anywhere else on earth.
  • Small skill is gained by those who cling to ease. The hardy sailor hails from stormy seas
  • If you want the best seat in the house move the cat
  • There are perhaps no days in our childhood we live so fully as those we spend with a favourite book.
