Oh Eli you are so clever! Thank you for all the fun and the introductions to some great new blogs. I now can't wait to see the rest of the journey!

I LOVE your blog! I stumbled on it from ravelry and the cute knitted sheep. I love the stories and the sheep clothes but absolutely fell in love with your blog when I saw the penguins. Too cute! I've got to get knitting on some sheep and penguins. Thank you!

Your sheep, the penguins and above all their story are wonderful. It makes me happy to see all pictures and read the story and all of your blog! Thank you for that pleasure!
Best wishes from Austria

Love 'em - when do the penguins get to go globetrotting too? They should have their own spin-off adventure :D (no pun intended ;)

Elladragongirl

Hey Eli,
These are so cute! I'm making them, and, being me, am running into a problem: on the last step, where you are supposed to make the wings/tail with the cape, my penguin begins to look like the "Darth Vader" of penguins, with the cape draping behind instead of bunching up to form cute little wings, like your adorable penguin at the bottom. Any idea why this is happening, and how I can fix it? Thanks,
-elladragongirl

Little contemplations

  • A flower cannot blossom without sunshine nor a garden without love.
  • Angels speak to out hearts when we are asleep.
  • The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,
One is nearer God's heart in a garden,
    Than anywhere else on earth.
