We awoke to snow this morning which meant my day could be spent indoors keeping cosy and warm... Hurrah!
I thought this little line of white mice and snowflakes was just right for today. The mouse pattern repeats every eight stitches, the snowflakes every six so its easy to knit and floats on the back are kept short.
I haven't added colour to the chart as it makes it easier to follow.
Yes, I did say we'd had overnight snow... Here it is!!!!!!!
Dear Eli,
You must stop sharing all these delightful knitting patterns! I am still working on the bunnykins:-) when I get a moment here or there that is. If no one gets supper tonite you are to blame...LOL!

I've just found your blog and have absolutely fallen in love with it! Not only do we share some of the same interests, but my mother-in-law is from Glasgow, Scotland and so many of your postings remind of her. Also, I once had a penpal named Eli who lived in Perth, Scotland - when I saw your name is Eli I had to wonder! She had such a wonderful artistic/creative talent - obviously you do too! Blessings from a fan in Bossier City, Louisiana, USA - Sharon

Dear Eli,
I love to see all your pretty knitting! You are quite the creative and talented lady! Your sweet little mouse looks so happy sitting there!
I love all the darling photos on your side bar and the quotes you shared along with them. So inspiring!
The snow looks so pretty and I am sure your bird friends are thankful for the food you provide for them to help keep them warm.
Love, Paula

Hi Eli, I love the knitting pattern the little mouse and wool infront makes such a lovely picture. I know what you mean about this country folding up with a little flurry of snow I quite like it but I do not like the slush and mud it leaves behind. I must admit to be thinking of the garden from time to time after seeing a few bulbs nudging their way up to say hello. I like to start muddling around in Feb weather permitting. So nice to have the spring around the corner.
Hope the snow doesn't affect you too much.

Dear Eli,
You are so very talented! This is just gorgeous! I just hope one day I will be able to knit half as well as you! I can sympathize about what you said that everything is at a standstill there when it snows! It is the same way here even if we get a flurry. Which is not often!
Blessings,
Selia

That's a lovely pattern, I'm almost tempted to get my knitting stuff out of hiding. But I think I'll stick to quilting for a while...
You have a really nice blog, and I'll be back! Thank you for your kind comments on mine :-)
