I can't believe I've gone through life without owning a little pin cushion to sit on my wrist. A couple of days ago I decided to make one and what a useful little thing it is. I'm so pleased with it that I've made a second pin cushion as a special 'flutterby give-away'.
A cute little stuffed cotton parcel is held firmly on the wrist with a scrunchie (fabric covered elastic). The cushion is decorated with a satin ribbon flower, beaded at the centre.
If I'm using pins away from my machine then its no more pins in a saucer for me, from now on I'm a wrist cushion convert.
I hope you'll enter the draw, it's open to all no matter where you live in the world. All you have to do is leave a comment on this post and your name will be entered. I'll announce the winner on Friday 6th February....Good luck.
Until next time,
Eli
So cute. I've never had one either, but perhaps I need one too!

It's lovely Eli. You make such beautiful things. I would love to win it!
By the way, do you know where I could get a pattern for little mice like the ones you make or are they your own design?

Hello Eli, I just popped over to say thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog. But now on seeing your blog for the first time, we seem to have quite a bit in common. Namely blue and white china, the same little spice rack, silk ribbon embroidery book, the sew pretty home style book, Gilda Barons the art of embroidered flowers, the bottom left little bo-peep pic, a bobbin lace making set(I will learn one day),I love crazy patchwork, Bunnykins dishes, and Brambley Hedge. Now I thought that was quite a lot for one visit!
I'm looking forward to popping back soon. Love Fi x

Dear Eli,
Just popping in to say thank you for your sweet comment and encouraging words!!! Oh, what you said is so very true, and so very beautiful!!! My husband does not mind the pink at all, and as you said, he enjoys the lightness and happiness, as I know your dear husband does as well in your beautiful and happy home!!!
I love your idea for painting the laundry room cupboards pink!!! I thought of painting them white and the walls pink, but I like your idea much better and think the walls will be painted white and the cupboards pink. It would be so much more cheerful!!! Thank you for all the inspiration and beauty you share!
Much love,
Paula
