The sun might not be an enthusiastic visitor but it's midsummer and so time to look for fairies in the garden...
....sweeping their tiny pathways
....collecting freshly laid eggs
and gathering honey for tea.
And when their work is done you might see them having fun making daisy chains.
Until next time,
Eli
Eli, your fairies are gorgeous! Did you make them and, more impotantly, will there be any in your shop?

Dear Eli,
Oh, how cunning! My girls absolutely LOVE all of your creations, and squeal with delight every time with each new post.
Thanks for brightening our cloudy day,
Love,
Marqueta

Dear Eli,
Such a delightful post, as usual! I love your sweet fairies! They are so darling, and the photos are so beautiful! Just look at those sweet faces and their lovely outfits! I feel certain you made them! I love all the details and their activities. The netting to protect her face from the bees was so clever! Tasha Tudor would have loved them, too!
Love, Paula

Oh thank you for that dose of pure garden sweetness and busy fairy fun at the end of (my) loooong day!

Dear Eli,
(Responding to your comment)~
Oh my, a hunt for hobbits sounds fun! The girls would jump up and down with glee, for sure. I was thinking of making some hobbit sock dolls sometime, so maybe that would be a good impetus for me (Or maybe hobbit clothespin dolls?). This grown-up girl is sure glad she has little girls to play dolls with!
Love,
Marqueta

Lovely fairies! and lovely blog!
I've just finished knitting a pencil for my friend which he just loved! There is a photo of the final product on my blog allyourstarsareout.blogspot.com if you want to have a look.
I'm going to try the daffodils next to brighten our grey winter.
Thanks again!

Greetings Eli! Lily Red and I could hardly wait to pop on over for a peek at your fairy folk! Oh if only we were closer so our wee ones could get together.....I'm certain they are kindred spirits a heart.
Am keeping my eyes watchful for the first of the Queen Anne's Lace over our way so I can post a picture for you. We seem to be quite behind England in our blossom schedule...and the perpetual rain we've been having throughout the month of June has not been helping. The clover in our lawn is now being crowded out by mushrooms believe it or not! Good thing I have my wellies handy, now if only I could see about getting a pair for Lily Red as well!
Fondly your Friend,
natalie jo
