Necessary maintenance work

I'm not sure what is happening at Typepad but I've been trying all week to write a post with no success. I'm presuming the site is undergoing substantial maintenance as my words and pics are mysteriously erased ...grrrr! I am able to add a few pics without words so this is what I shall do just to let you know I am still alive! 

I've made a number of car trips recently and have been seriously delayed by road maintenance workers. There is currently a rash of them in our county. So friends I leave you with a few pics which sum up my frustrations with just one of the little irritations of modern life that you can do nothing about.

Same thing around here. Our crumbling roads and bridges are finally being repaired and the traffic jams are amazing!

On our way across the US, every single state we went through was doing work on their roads. It was incredibly tedious! I sympathize!

I haven't been having a problem with Typepad...I hope you get it worked out soon! I know how frustrating that can be!

WOW you have VERY instructive signs LOL half the time at our road works there are no signs and the only way you know is when the car just about shakes to bits thru the loose metal hee hee

Dear Eli,

I am sorry to hear about your Typepad problems, so glad they are worked out. I enjoyed the photos. We have lots of road work going on here, too, but your signs are much better than ours! Though that does not make the delay anymore enjoyable does it?!
