Christmas has passed and I feel as if I've eaten more than I should.
What should I do? I know.......
I'll take a brisk walk down a snowy lane to the village of Grasmere.
In no time at all I'll find myself outside
the prettiest little ancient dwelling known as Dove Cottage...
.... the one time home of William Wordsworth.
And here is the view from Mr Wordsworth's parlour window.
And here is the large hotel named after the famous poet
I wonder what he would have thought about it?
Well ...all that walking makes a bear quite hungry.
Just enough time to feed the ducks and swans and then....
......back home for a tasty snack before tea!
By the way, my name is Toffee Ted and Eli has just listed my pattern in her Etsy shop.
Until next time

Dear Eli,
I agree, too many treats can be a bear feel . . . stuffed ;) !
What a treat to be able to visit Wordsworth's home, and to feed the ducks and swans, too.
Your winter is almost over there, isn't it? We get three months of it here in Idaho!
Blessings to you,
Marqueta

Dear Eli,
Such a delightful post, as always! The snowy lane to the village of Grasmere is just lovely! I love William Woodsworth! His Dove Cottage is quite beautiful and charming! The whole village is charming! I would love to visit his home and the hotel named after him. A walk down that lane would be wonderful too!
I love your sweet Toffee Ted! He is so cute! I also love the sweet pink baby shoes you knitted for your friend's grandbaby. You knit beautifully dear Eli! The little teddy that was peeking in the shoes is darling!
Keep warm and enjoy the pretty snow from the warmth of your fireplace.
Much love,
Paula
